the coming version of ProTeXt (which will hopefully be released in the 
next weeks ;-) won't include WinEdt anymore. Because in the meantme 
TeXnicCenter has become more than a free substitute (and is almost state 
of the art as TeX-Editor for Windows) for WinEdt, there's no reason 
anymore to use the shareware-product.
