thomas -- last night's mirror from tug.org into ctan gave us an apparently new "protext.exe" without deleting what was there.
so we now have -rw-r--r--. 1 ctan 34 1223854878 2011-07-14 23:11 ProTeXt-3.0-070811.exe -rw-r--r--. 1 ctan 34 57 2011-07-14 23:11 ProTeXt-3.0-070811.exe.md5 -rw-r--r--. 1 ctan 34 1223854878 2011-07-14 00:00 protext.exe it seems likely that the "new" file is just a copy of 3.0, size and md5sum are the same. can you explain how this happened. while an extra gbyte and a bit is not a "big deal" nowadays, there's going to be a lot of spurious network traffic because of this new file. incidentally, there is a dead link from your name under "credits" in http://tug.org/protext/ Robin Fairbairns For the CTAN team -- http://tug.org/protext/
