I recently wrote the following blog post about the need for an immutable 
byte array wrapper.  In the post I mentioned Protocol Buffers nice 
implementation ByteString.  I am curious if anyone has made an attempt to 
push ByteString up into java?  Seems like it would be a nice addition to 
java.lang!
