Hello people, I might be missing something, and thus this might be a very easy question to answer. But due to some requirements I'm currently exploring the idea of building a protoc plugin myself.
However, I can't really find any good resources of what the correct approach is, and i'm not really feeling reverse engineering an existing plugin at the moment. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I found this Medium article: https://medium.com/cloud-native-daily/create-and-run-a-protobuf-plugin-9471e16e8ad But this doesn't provide me with an deeper understanding of what the compiler actually does and how to use it to its full potential.
