Can prototype handle this?  I've ran into a few problems which suggest
it can't.

My application builds ui components dynamically in Javascript and when
it finds a resource (keyword data for a select for example) that it
doesn't have it issues an Ajax.Request to get the data.  On some forms
this can result in half a dozen or so simultaneous ajax requests.

Now I've just read that http only supports two, so the question is:

What happens if you issue more than two?  Do they get discarded by
http or does prototype queue the requests?
