Hmmm.  I get:

libtoolize --automake
aclocal
autoheader
automake --add-missing
configure.ac: installing `./install-sh'
configure.ac: installing `./missing'
gtk_sheet/Makefile.am: installing `./depcomp'
automake --add-missing
autoconf

Maybe you could try doing this manually.  I'll have to look more
closely at the Smake file to see if I can find out why you're having
this problem.
