Hi Jeremy, i produced a standard MacOS application bundle for pspp on OSX El Capitan 10.11.6 based on the current macports pspp version 0.10.2. I used this script
https://github.com/fredowski/osxbundler to build the bundle. This is based on gtk-mac-bundler. The bundle is based on the quartz backend of gtk3, i.e. no XServer is required. I provide the bundle here: http://www.hs-augsburg.de/~beckmanf/pspp-0.10.2.dmg Using the bundle does not require to install macports or the X11 Server.
