I'm happy to tell you all that starting this Monday, I'm working for
Sectra Communications AB, the leading Swedish manufacturer of
cryptographic equipment (http://www.sectra.se/security). I'll be able
to work on LSH more or less full time.
As the Swedish military is an important Sectra customer, and in view
of recent international developments, one of the first goals for LSH,
in the new setting, is full support for balanced privacy, also known
as "key-escrow". You can find a preliminary patch at

Technically, each session key is split into n parts (currently using
simple XOR:ing, later versions will use k/n Shamir secret sharing),
and the shares are sent to appropriate Swedish and international
authorities. These enhancements have been made thanks to help and
suggestions from the Swedish authorities, primarily the Inspection for
Strategic Products (http://www.isp.se).
