Under 7.3 I had three separate machines that failed in running redhat-config-users. Now in RH 8 it fails in exactly the same way: /usr/share/redhat-config-users/redhat-config-users: line 4: 13194 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/python2.2 /usr/share/redhat-config-users/redhat-config-users.py The error is caused by the failure of the statement: import mainWindow in redhat-config-users.py mainWindow is where it should be. This is a fresh install of RH 8.0 in the same way it failed on fresh installs of 7.3. No one could explain this previously.
