Keith, Don't think we've been on the same list since Tiger days, good to see you're still around!
1. I'm running LE. Hoping to get a chance to mix on an HD system with a control24 hooked up sometime this week though. I'm reasonably certain that the hands-on control provided by control24 and Alex talking to me when I need him is going to be one of those "Honey, I'm home" moments. 2. As is so often the case, the menu system and preferences and most dialogs seem nice and tidy. The mix and edit windows (they're your two main everyday workspaces) are wonderfully tidy and thoroughly implimented, though I'm still figuring out the speediest ways of navigating to places with VO. Turned my VO sounds on for the first time in years tonight, because refreshing my memory of how these windows are physically laid out seems to be making a big difference. The plugins window has been pretty sweet with the standard plugin set, hoping that 3rd party plugs are integrated as well as this but not had time to try them yet. So far, the only things I've tried that have been consistently not visible to VO have been the floating windows (things like a bigger clock, floating transport, undo history and so on). Alternative ways of checking pretty much all of the info to be found in them have presented themselves so far, other than the system usage monitor... that would've been nice to have. All a bit cursory, but I'll keep reporting back as I investigate more.
