Functions in PT like Sound Forge

Hi all,
Perhaps a bit weird (read beginner) query, but anyone can tell me what tasks
of Sound Forge can be done in Pro Tools? 
I don't want to use Windows anymore you see.
I know Wavelab is coming to Mac, but will take some time before it will be
accessible, if ever.
