I just checked out the euphonix stuff, do yourselves a favour and read
the sound on sound magazine reviews on the mc control and the mc mix,
just google euphonix mc mix sound on sound. You'll notice that Paul
White mentiones the mackie control pro a few times in this review, now
I have looked at it before and on a glance I'll rather go for the
Mackie than the euphonix mc mix and I think Paul White feels the same.
Check out the sound on sound reviews of the original mackie control
and also the new mackie control pro, this would give you a propper
idea of its funktions. After reading these reviews the mackie sounds
easyer to opperate, sounds like it's simpler in layout and by the
articles it sounds like it's less nesessery to be able to see the
mackies displays in order to opperate. A big plus for me on the mackie
is the dedicated transport section with jog wheel and I'm not sure but
think the mackie is cheeper.
