it's command option b.
It's under the file menu.

The export feature you are thinking of is called bounce to disc in pro
tools. Think it may be under the edit menu. Once you find it it should also
have the keyboard shortcut next to it. I too was confused by that one at
first, as export is where every other DAW puts that function.

I did it, guys! My first vocal track is finished! Considering I didn't
even process the vocals at all other than adding some air reverb, I'm
blown away! This sounds incredible! O, K, I don't have the bright
commurcial sound yet I've been referring to, but hey, you know what, it
sounds better than it ever has before, so I'm not gonna complain. I think
if I process the vocals it'll sound even better, but here's the bottom
line.
Remember we're dealing with Protools MP9, V 9.0 here with the Fast Track
C400 on 10.6.8 Snowleopard.
When I go to my file menu, export sub menu is dimmed. So, I can't export
to an mp3 file. I don't get it! Do I have to do something first to make
that not be dimmed so that I can? export it?
Don't tell me that isn't available in MP's version. I'd find that really!
hard to believe.
