devices not showing up in pt10

hi i went to the playback engine selected what i wanted and went to
the in and outs nothing was listed
its listed in audio midi setup
also when i installed pt there was two buttons the first one was
selected
it said hd non native hardware
then there was another button
i'm running 10.3
