awesome gents. a buddy of mine helped me with this issue.
just in case anyone here encounters this same thing here is what i did. 1. repair the permissions three times 2. go to the project that this happened while pt was open. 3. go to file menu and go to copy in 4. make sure you check all desired boxes. 5. than put the original project in the trash this actaully seemed to work. hope this is helpful to someone, better yet hope you don't have to deal with it.
