My company definitely could help you. We could arrange something over
Skype. My rates are $15.00USD per hour.

question but need tips
Hi Ricky. I'm not knocking your idea, not at all, please don't misunderstand
me, but i'm not 100 percent certain that would work because of time zones
and stuff. See i'm in Sweden and that means there's a 6 hour time difference
between me and EST. However if i was to hire someone, how much would that
be? Is anyone here willing to work with a total newbie? :-) lol
Thanks.

Hi I am not using ProTools. But I believe I would encounter the same
problem that you are doing. If I were you I would hire someone from this
list to train me it would make it easier and stop your suffering. I can
certainly feel your pain and I hired someone for Solmar. It worked great

Hi and thanks. I'll have to try to find the pro tools tutorials you
mentioned. I have familiarized myself with the PT interface, and that
seems quite logical. I have actually learned how to set up virtual
instruments, the thing is that there are a few terms i don't quite
understand as of yet and i don't want to clog up the list with too many
obvious questions if i can avoid it. After all, i don't want to sound
like a complete idiot even though i am one.:-) lol
One thing i heard was that you very quickly could set up new tracks in a
blank session, but i can for the life of me not remember how. Maybe it's
not usable by a blind person, i.e it has to do with dragging stuff
around. (Only me thinking here)
Anyways, thanks for the tips and more tips are appreciated.

have you tried youtube? Joe Gilder does have a understanding Pro TOols
tutorial product and offers a money back guarantee incase its too visual
and doesn't work for You. I think There may be another one called
rethinking pro tools by another guy with a similar warranty. I'd start
with the basics one step at a time. learn your way around pro tools.
then learn your way around the interface, then put the two together.
And being a fraud of breaking stuff will get u no where. One of the
nice things about the mac is we can reinstall the OS, and or PT and or
drivers for the project mix pretty much all with out sighted assistance.

Hi folks.
Yes it's true, i still haven't come off the ground when it comes to Pro
Tools. This is probably due to the fact that i'm a total newbie when it
comes to the whole recording multi-track recordings on a computer
business. Is there somewhere a sort of "total idiots guide to getting
started with PT in a language a 3 year old can understand" type
tutorial? I've tried going to Groove3 inc but their site is tricky with
safari to say the least. Add to this the fact that with growing age and
the electronic gadgets being as hard as they are for a totally
non-sighted person,i just want to know how blind people use the
combination DAW + midi control surface. This is because i don't dare
press buttons on the surface in case i screw up things seriously. In my
case i would like to learn more about PT in combination with the
Projectmix which is what i have.
Does this all make sense or am i just a hopeless case?
