If you've not got this working as of yet, I'd try the following. In pro tools after opening a project, Go under setup, and IO. Do a physical mouse click on input tab I do this by pressing control command option f5, and then clicking with the mouse. Then voice over to your right until you hear default. VOice over space on this and then click ok. It switches your IO to default which has worked for me twice in the past with my scarlet.
