I don't believe it has a GM synth, but it does have vertual instruments, a 
drum program called Boom, a full instrument library with drums called 
expand, a Grand piano and some other stuff that I am not familiar with. 
There are hundreds of sounds in the box and the nice thing is, the settings 
are accessible, down to the drum snairs and kicks, reverbs, pans and delays, 
filters and more.
