Hi, My Digi 003 is connected to the firewire port and my external drive is connected to an esata express card in my 17 inch mac book pro late model 2011. Spotlight is totally disabled on the entire system so it does not even load when I reboot the system. I don't use it so I did not even want it to load at all.
