Not? funny!

I suppose you'd be pretty dramatic too! if your grandfather was dying! for God damn sake! I don't need your smartass comments right now, OK? If you wanna hate me, that's fine, but give me a break at least for a day or two!

Chris.

"Don't eat me for lunch" or "kill me"? Wow,
you're pretty dramatic about small things! Let me guess - on the down swing?

Trevor, I'm quite sure that you were already aware of this, so don't eat me for lunch, but, you are! aware that after moving the Voiceover cursor where you need to drop the item, you may first want to again, press your command+shift+vo+spacebar. Again, don't kill me for saying it, no pun intended. I'm sure you already knew this, but just had to mention it in case.

Chris.

Iâ EURO (tm)ll try your first suggestion, Iâ EURO (tm)ve already tried the second with no luck. Apparently from what I just read VO comma is the new way to drag and drop in Mavericks.

Cheers,

Trevor

This is the number one reason i switched back to and figured out how to get reaper working on the mac. The workspace view was not accessible prior to V11 and seems it still isnâ EURO (tm)t very effective from what you are saying. Try this and let us know if it works. Select the track you want to put the loop on and move the cursor to the point in the project where eyou want the loop to go. Then in the workspace area try double clicking on the loop. and see if it gets inserted into the project at that point on that track.

If that doesnâ EURO (tm)t work, then instead of trying to do drag and drop the way you were try it this way. when on the loop and after making sure the mouse is over it, do the mouse down action with VO+CMD+SHIFT+SPACE. then move back into the mix window like you intended to do with the regular drag and drop and perform the mouse up action by pressing VO+CMD+SHIFT+SPACE again.

Let me know if either works.

I am trying to use loops in Pro Tools and I seemed to have worked out the workspace but, when I find the loop I want to use, I VO command f 5 to make sure the mouse is on the loop. Then I press VO comma, and a message comes up saying, voice over can not drag a file that has been action pressed. Firstly, what does that mean and secondly, can anyone tell me how I drag the loop in to my session please. I have lso tried VO command shift space bar to click the mouse down on the loop and then moving to the mix window and VO command shift space bar to click mouse up again.
 still no luck.

 Thank you,

 Trevor
