Hi Krister Maybe call Avid and see what they say. If possible, have sighted person with you in cast they want you to do something that takes vision. I feel your pain when it comes to changing some parameters in third party plug/ins. For instance I use superior drummer and Trillion bass and they both are not accessible for us. I had the engineer who trained me set up sounds in the librarian menu for me. That way I can at least use favourite drum kits and bass sounds till I need him for my final mix. It's frustrating cause it seems you go so far and then there's another road block. Don't give up cause musics it's own reward and there's work arounds. When your next at your music store, ask them if there's someone there who would work with you in pro tools to get you going. There are tons of key commands that I use that aren't necessarily voice over and work wonderfully. An example of that would selecting tracks for cutting and pasting. I do it in the edit mode using, (control P or Control :. P takes you to the first track and : will cycle through the rest. Voice over says nothing and you have to count correctly It was a pain but I got used to it and now I use it all the time.
