Hi. i am wondering if there is a way to turn off input monitoring in protools when recording. you can do this in sonar for each track. Under normal conditions i would not want to run this way, but i had protools running through an analogue desk today, and to cut a long story short, i ran my computer through the u s b feed on there desk. it worked fine but i got some feedback. the machine they generally use does not monitor the input when recording. so i’m wondering if it’s possible to do this within protools. or is there another way around this. Short of re routing my signal sauce. Steve
