hi can’t really add any more to this. But just to say. i have found solo safe 
doesn’t always work for me. only yesterday i was using it, and i solo safed 6 
tracks fine, then the following track did not seem to want to do it. i’d hit v 
o command f 5, then command and left click on the mouse and the damn thing just 
kept going in to finder.
this won’t fix your problem, but maybe try solo safing another track, and see 
if you have the issue. The only other thing i can think of, is if you have a 
control surface, you can hit command, and the select button of your track on 
the surface. I haven’t tried this yet, but it might help.
