Hi, I was letting one of my friends practice their singing with some music tracks from an audio CD in Pro Tools 12. They then wanted me to change the speed of one of the songs but when I tried using elastic audio to do this we ran into a problem. We did not make any click track and put more then one song in the same session as I was planning on cutting them apart after everything was recorded. Is there no method to increase the speed by about a quarter or a half with no click track? I tried using the tempo settings like I did for class work but because Pro Tools does not know the exact tempo of all of the songs in the session one after another that method did not work. I even made sure things were set for ticks on all tracks and tried all elastic audio plugins with no results. What should I do to do this for them? Nick Gawronski
