Hi Nicola, It's odd that the plug-in window doesn't open automatically. I'm not familiar with the Artist surfaces but certainly with the older Control|24 and the newer C|24 the plug-in window opens whenever the EQ or dynamics buttons are pressed. Now, that said, those are dedicated dynamics buttons so maybe that's the difference. I haven't recently tried hitting the insert button first and opening a given plug-in from the encoder buttons. I'll have to double-check that to remind myself of the behavior.
