Hi, To better control the settings in the Dyn3 Compressor/Limiter in PT, I have changed the related settings in the preferences so that the gain reduction meter should shouw up in the plugin nserted and in the track where compression is used. But the only thing I can see with VoiceOver is an empty gain reduction level meter side by side with the peak level meter. When the compressor is set so that gain reduction for sure is taking place (threshold -50, ratio 3:1, audio on the track and so on…), there is still no value shown in the gain reduction meter. What am I missing, shouldn’t Voiceover report the values here? Peak level is shown, and the track is the only one visible, to make sure VoiceOver works like expected with what’s on the screen.
