Oh, one more thing: Occasionally, no matter what you try, the process I 
described can fail for inexplicable reasons. Of course, one thing to check is 
whether there are any open windows or dialogs blocking the send. One other 
technique you might employ is to click once on the send in order to open the 
send window. From there, you can perform the same Shift-Option-click and it 
seems to work more consistently from there.
