Glad you guys liked it. I put a few finnishing touches on the recording before you all ask.
For instance, I cleaned up the drums a little bit, as there were a few places where my tom fills were a little bit off timing/rushed, and I also added some mute automation so that the vocals are always muted unless I'm actually singing. This way, you get no bleedover from my headphones. Finally, I'm not sure if you all who listenned would agree, but to me at least, I can't exactly put my finger on it, but something about both my acoustic strumming guitar, and my vocals just didn't quite sound right. It was almost as if something was missing. So, I added some E Q to both, and turned up around 85HZ by about 2.5DB, to give back some of the lower end. It just sounded a little too trebbly for my liking initially when I went back and listenned. Bringing those frequencies up in the mix really brought things to life. I'm quite amazed at how much an E Q really can make your mix, or break your mix. At least, I'm learning from my mistakes, which is a good thing, I assume. LOL!
