Actually, that company has had a giant shake up in the past three years. For the longest time, I believe the exact same thing you did. They have since bought Midus TC helicon, and other big companies. When they released their x32 line of live/studio mixers, it took the pro audio world by storm. All of these guys who at one time or anti-Behringer, couldn't say enough nice things about this line of boards. The interface that we are discussing has that exact same set of preamps in it. I have heard tons of Boardmixes with these preamps, and they sound great. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this piece of hardware.
