Hi, Out of these interfaces you just talked about in your messages which
one is probably the best one and going down in quality as I will be
trading in the Digi 003 so will get some trade in value for it so want
to know the quality and accessibility of these three interface
companies? Remember I need at least 4 microphone preamps and 8 inputs
more of course without buying an exbanding device this way if you can
give me the information I can take this message with me to the store and
show them and they can tell me what they have? Nick Gawronski

As stated earlier t till you start looking at interfaces from the likes of
Apogee, Universal Audio or the Focusrite Clarite stuff. another interfaces in
that price range i don’t know that you will be stepping up. There is a reason
those cost what they do and the others are considerably less expensive. However
as also stated any of the other interfaces discussed her will allow you to do
professional work and earn living without breaking the bank.

Yeah i am debating between that one and the 404HD one since its got inserts for
all the inputs and a basic monitor switcher built in .

Just looked at the Behringer 18 20 manual and I can safely say that there is no
control panel needed. There is a direct monitoring knob on the unit, and a
button for setting sample rate for external digital devices.
For $199, this may be an incredible bang for the buck.
I think I’ll take the plunge here in a few weeks and grab one. I’ll report back.
