Thanks a lot. Yes I am using the apple pro keyboard. I’ll try the tempo change thing on the next project. I let my partner do it. I’m doing a whole bunch of fifties oldies stuff, all in 12/8. Not very exciting, but simple enough to cut my teeth with PT. Gord

The first time you press it, it'll enable the Start field and you can type your values. In this case, 35 then decimal then 7 (no need to type a zero) and hit Enter on the numeric keypad. If you want to get to the end field instead, type the slash key twice. That's the nutshell. Hopefully, someone else might have a copy of one of the posts I put together that details how to enter counter values. Under the event operations you can do a tempo change in various ways. If you have a click in the session, you can experiment with various types of tempo changes.
