Yeah, I'm kind a with ya there, Slau. I guess I was just thinking that if
focus mode would let me be able to do anything that I couldn't do otherwise,
then it may would be worth exploring, but it sounds to me like what you're
saying, and please do correct me if I'm wrong, it's more just a convenience
factor.

Subject: Re: Keyboard focus mode?
Keyboard focus shortcuts used to work slightly differently in older versions
of Pro Tools but I'm pretty sure it's mostly the same. Command-Option-1 is
the Commands Focus mode, Command-Option-2 brings focus to the Clips List (if
it's being shown) and Command-Option-3 brings focus to the Groups List,
again assuming it's being shown.
I'm personally not a Commands Focus kind of guy as I find that inadvertent
presses of keys on the qwerty keyboard can produce unexpected and
undesirable results. When a sighted user can often visually catch such
surprise events, a blind user might miss things. To me, the difference
between pressing one key versus pressing it with a modifier is
insignificant. My two cents,
Slau

It's a mode where you can skip the ctrl key.
e.g.: Select next track is ctrl+semicolon
Turning the mode on you only have to press the semicolon.
The command to turn the mode on for the edit window is option+command+1
To turn it of for the edit window press e.g. option+command+2

Subject: Keyboard focus mode?
I keep hearing a ton about this keyboard focus mode. Can someone tell me
more about what it is, and how to toggle it on/off?
