I suppose some find it useful to not have to add a modifier. Clearly, Pro Tools 
is not a program where one types a lot. When a dialog comes up, naturally, 
typing might be required but, for the most part, using the keyboard can be 
focused, so to speak, on issuing editing and navigation commands.
