Patrick,

Don’t worry about drivers specific to your interface. The conflict was with the 
Avid Core Audio Driver which, again, is only used when you want to use 
third-party applications with Avid interfaces. Further, there’s no guarantee of 
conflict even then. It’s only occasionally a problem under certain OS versions 
with certain configurations so I wouldn’t worry about it yet. See how it goes 
first and there are always options.
