As I mentioned last time this question was brought up, I strongly suggest
VLC.

Subject: audio player for mac
Hi guys. i know this is a bit off topic, but i’m looking for a good music
player for the mac. something to basically play mp3 files, wav files m 4 a
and other things. iTunes is fine, and sounds great. but personaly i find the
interface a bit annoying at times. The other thing that annoys me with
iTunes is the fact that you seem to have to import the files in to iTunes to
be able to play things. I don’t know how many windows users are on here, but
something similar to win amp or windows media player would be what i’m
after. I used to use VLC but it’s been very glitchy lately with some mp3
files. So is there anything else out there for mac to do this work that is
accessible.
Cheers
