I've honestly never seen that, and I'm now working on an mp3 library of 6 hard drives, of which all are 1TB in size. The sixth of those drives being about half way full. So, about 5 and a half terrabytes of music.

Hey Chriss. yes. i’ve been using it for a year or so now. But some mp3 files just will not play properly. they just sound very glitchy. lots of pops and crackles. It does not do this on all mp3 files. seems to have something to do with what they are created in. the pops are not there when you play them in i tunes, or on a windows machine. Just v l c. I’ve found this on 3 macs. and friends of mine have noticed the same odd behaviour. Have you seen this man. If so, is there a way of fixing this. If this is fixable i’m happy to stay with v l c.

As I mentioned last time this question was brought up, I strongly suggest VLC.

Hi guys. i know this is a bit off topic, but i’m looking for a good music player for the mac. something to basically play mp3 files, wav files m 4 a and other things. iTunes is fine, and sounds great. but personaly i find the interface a bit annoying at times. The other thing that annoys me with iTunes is the fact that you seem to have to import the files in to iTunes to be able to play things. I don’t know how many windows users are on here, but something similar to win amp or windows media player would be what i’m after. I used to use VLC but it’s been very glitchy lately with some mp3 files. So is there anything else out there for mac to do this work that is accessible.
Cheers
