Congratulations. I'm envious and I think you'll love it. Sean also has the S3. 
If I were buying a new surface today, that's undoubtedly the one I'd choose. 
One thing you might want to consider is using the Artist Transport with the S3 
as it has no dedicated standard transport controls or a scrub wheel. The Pro 
Tools Dock is meant to complement the S3 but, at around a thousand dollars, 
it's quite pricy. At least with the Artist Transport, you can have most of that 
functionality. Let us know how you get on with it.
