Yeah i thought that was what you were referring too. how ever after all that, 
i’ve finally fixed it. there’s a setting in the window menu called suspend 
automation. This was selected. all working fine again. Just a waist of half a 
day. But that is computers for you at times I guess. Great when they work. lol
