Hi John, When anomalies like this crop up I always restart VoiceOver "command f5" and this seems to straighten out things for a bit! :) Next thing to do is to re launch your session, "command shift o" this puts things back to normal especially while trying to edit "VI" tracks. YMMV Talk soon Chuck
