Ramy,
You can't have a selection and navigate anywhere else unless you unlink the 
timeline and edit selection. I'd highly recommend you don't do that because it 
will not be possible for you to reliably use Pro Tools as a blind user. If you 
want to go to the beginning of the session, you'll simply lose your selection. 
That's how it works for everybody, sighted and blind. You probably think of 
selections as markers that can be set and remembered and then selecting a range 
between those two markers to make a selection. That's different from making a 
selection with the down and up arrows while the playback is engaged.
