As Slau said, OMF will work.  Have use broadcast wav to get out wav files
from Sonar and simply saved out the MIDI data for a track by exporting it.
Never really bothered much with OMF in Sonar and anyway I think its
implementation of OMF is quite old.

I spent about 15 years, recording on sonar. and after moving to Protools, I
Sometimes needs to open a sonar session to take a track or to ask for a
tempo, etc.
so, is there a way to open sonar sessions on mac? i googled it but can not
find something, just questions, and don't know if there is something that i
did not find.
