If your selection started at the bottom of the list, that means you probably had no insertion cursor. By using Control P and semicolon, you move the insertion and selection through the tracks and, coincidentally, if there's no insertion cursor to begin with, an insertion cursor is created. Without that insertion, no audio will ever be edited or selected. Hope that helps, Slau
