Ok, here is the situation.
I have the following set up, Yamaha MG 10XU mixer/audio interface, sure
sm beta 58 dynamic microphone, a peavey small condenser microphone.
what is happening is when I plug my peavey into my yamaha I then can
toggle between hearing my monitars/ headphones by using the USB button
on channel 9 /10 but when plugging in the sure microphone I can no
longer do this.
Why is this and how can I get the same results as the peavey?
Also I have to run my gain almost really hot to get any sound out of
either microphones; the peavey, isa phantom powered one; the sure is a
dynamic micriphone.
Would it be better for me to get a different audio interface/control
surface? or should i invest in getting a cloudlifter?
If the cloudlifter has anyone had any good luck with them?
And if another audio interface/control surface which should I get?
