It sounds to me like you might need to update your driver. A few of the lower in Scarlets don't need a driver. You might need to check and see if the scarlet six needs a driver.

When I launch the scarlette control software via the short cuts i created so I can switch between no direct monitar, and with direct moniter I get the warning that the scarlette software/interface will not work with future versions of Mac OSX.
