Before updating Pro Tools and maybe some day Mac OS, I’m reviewing and translating all my German documentation... And so I came to that issue. The Menu/View/Other Displays option only effects the edit window. And yes, the track list stuff moves to the very end of the window after deselecting that option. Using the “Track List Show/Hide” buttons in either the mix or edit window, does the same for the desired window. There's a current bug report to at least help clarify when the track list table is shown or hidden for VoiceOver users. BTW, if I remember correctly, when it's hidden, it shows up at the very end of the Mix and Edit windows.
