Hi,

I have just taken delivery of a 2018 Mac Mini as my old MacBook Pro battery
decided to die on me the other day and although she is now plugged into the
wall all the time wich is fine but she is now starting to show her age a
bit too so I thought I would update my Mac system.

I could not wait until say September time when a new M1 Mac Mini or MacBook
Pro comes out and maybe by then a new version of PT would be out too but
that is wishful thinking and maybe a long way away!

So I have a 2018 Mac Mini with 16GB of RAM which should hopefully work a
lot faster than my old MacBook Pro that only has 8GB of RAM.

So my question is how easy is it to move my PT EUControl software and
licences to my new Mac Mini.

I know I can do a TimeMachine back up of my MacBook Pro and restore from a
back up on the Mac Mini but for a number of reasons I don’t want to do that
and just start the Mac Mini from scratch and adding just what I need rather
than too much other stuff that I don’t need.

Is it just as simple as installing PT, EUControl from Avid and then
installing iLock, signing in and plugging in my iLock dongle and my PT Dock
into the Mac Mini?

I am lucky that I have a wife who is sighted but she is more of a Windows
person and not a Mac person and gets frustrated with Mac stuff. So I just
wondered how easy it would be to take PT, EUConttrol to my new Mac Mini and
plug in the PT Dock and off I go again?

Any thoughts comments greatly welcome.

Cheers
