Chris,  have found that as well. I'd even go as far as saying that reaper has 
allowed me to do way more than I could do in pro tools, I.e, way more pluggins 
are fully accessible inside the daw itself, control surface seems to be a hell 
of a lot better even though you need to tweek things a bit when setting up 
stuff for the first time... But its all worth it, imo. I'm not bashing avid or 
anyone who use pro tools, but as Chris put it, this got to a point where this 
is beyond ridiculous, and where one switches do to problems like these.
