When you press enter you're placed in the name field and can type a name for it. To then move between them, you'd press numpad period, the marker number in question, and period. If you wanna make a timeline selection, then go to a marker, and if you hold shift and go to your next marker it'll make a selection between the 2. You can also view all your markers / memory locations with option 5. Hth.
