Hello Hackers,

I am curious as to why Ptolemy's modal models allow for indicating the final 
state. Is it solely for efficiency in that once an FSM reaches its final state, 
then that FSM is never triggered for execution again? This is because a 
deadlock state ( a state with no outgoing transitions ) could effectively model 
a final state except that FSM would be triggered at every execution. Are there 
other reasons why the option to indicate a final state exists?
