Maybe I'll get a Motorola 150 CPEi (www.motorola.com/business/v/item.jsp?vgnextoid=617323805ae46110VgnVCM1000008406b00aRCRD&localeId=33), tape the board from a Linksys running DD-WRT to it and put them both in a water tight box. They both take 12 volts. I bet I could do that for under $200. A 45ah Optima battery might run it for 48 hours straight. Unfortunately, to get 24 amp/hours back into the battery every day, I think I'd need at least an 80 watt panel (delivering 4 amps for 5 hours). That's another $700 or so. Too bad Merakis are so expensive ($200) these days. I like that solution. - Sam --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ The Personal Telco Project - http://www.personaltelco.net/ Donate to PTP: http://www.personaltelco.net/donate Archives: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.network.wireless.portland.general/ Etiquette: http://www.personaltelco.net/index.cgi/MailingListEtiquette List information: http://lists.personaltelco.net To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
